Our artisanal sweet potato chips, refined to delicious perfection over 40 years, reimagine the classic Japanese snack known as imo karinto. Handcrafted from just three simple, all-natural ingredients:

• Distinctive crimson-and-gold Beni Haruka sweet potatoes grown in the rich Japanese soil by farmers we know and trust
• Rice bran oil made from non-GMO JAS-certified Japanese rice
• Unrefined brown sugar from Tanegashima Island

We make our chips in small batches at our workshop in Kobe, Japan, cutting the sweet potatoes to the perfect thickness and carefully kettle-cooking them by hand to produce their surprising crunch and nuanced, delicately sweet flavor.
